Why do we promote the Star of Life on our back reflectivity instead of ‘EMS’?
- Through our 9-month product development process, we constantly heard that most people within their respective communities either do not understand what ‘EMS’ means or worse associate it with the demeaning nomenclature ‘ambulance driver’. Why continue to promote an something that marginalizes the value of our proud, medical EMS professionals. Research shows that communities associate the Star of Life for two things 1) medical, and 2) help. These are the associations EMS needs and desires to promote and strengthen.

Once I Place My Order, How Soon Will It Ship?
- Shipping and delivery depends on products and volumes. We will work closely with you to ensure transparent communication, clear expectations are set, and that you receive your product when we say you will!
- Shipping of stock products typically occur within 3-5 days upon order, depending on availability.
Custom finishes to our stock products (i.e. agency logo) typically adds 1-2 weeks to delivery, depending on order size.
Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
- Once your order has been placed, we cannot guarantee a cancellation or modification can be made to an order.
- If you do need to make a cancellation or modification, please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order, and our customer service team will work with you to make any accommodations possible.
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production begins. The customer is responsible and will be invoiced for any material expenses incurred by UNITY EMS, LLC + a 10% service fee of the total order, if cancelled prior to production beginning.
How will my order be delivered? What type of shipping service?
- We have a preferred relationship with USPS, Fedex, UPS, and DHL. We will select the shipping method most favorable to your team to minimize freight costs.

How can I customize my purchase with department logo?
- On our stock products, we offer customer finishes to add your agency’s logo to our stock product.
- On our PROUD+ Customer Orders, we offer you the opportunity to create a custom colorway for your agency, to reflect your unique identity and pride.
